HeltiQ Skin tags is a cryosurgical product for treatment of skin tags located under the arms, in the neck/throat area or under the breasts. They can be removed by freezing (cryotherapy). The product is an over-the-counter (OTC) medical device.
Skin tags occur frequently in both men and women and are benign and non-contagious. They occur spontaneously. A skin tag has the following characteristics: skin colored, soft and painless, moves easily, protrudes and has a small stem.

Product Usage
1. Place a plaster around the skin
tag to be treated.
2. Place a foam tip holder in the
opening of the cap. Press the
holder gently into the opening.
Hold the dispenser upside down
with the holder and foam tip
pointing downwards towards the
floor. Do not place the foam tip on
the skin tag.
3. Activate the dispenser and make
the foam tip active. Hold the
product away from your body
and do not point in the direction
of persons in the room. Press four
times firmly with the thumb on
the bottom of the dispenser. The
content will flow into the foam
tip. Hold the dispenser upside
down for a further 10 seconds.
4. Hold the foam tip against the skin
tag surrounded by the protective
plaster for 40 seconds.
5. Remove the protective plaster
directly after treatment.
6. Remove the foam tip from the
applicator cap opening by pulling
it out by its holder. Dispose
accordingly.
Product Warnings
Do not use HeltiQ Skintags:
When there is or has been a confirmed diagnosis of cancer and/or treatment for cancer
- Skin tags larger than 4 mm. Large skintags are not treatable with this method
- When the colour of the skin tag differs from the colour of the surrounding skin
- Skin tags on buttocks and ano genital warts
- Heavily pigmented skin / dark pigmented skin
- When the skin tag is hairy or contains hair
- When the skin tag is hard
- When the skin tag bleeds
- Irritated, infected or sensitive skin
- When there is sensitivity or allergy to extreme cold (cold type urticaria)
- Diabetics and persons with circulatory problems including Raynaud's disease
- Patients treated with immunosuppressive medicines/confirmed diagnosis for autoimmune or collagen diseases
- Patients on anticoagulation medication and haemophilia patients
- On children under 4 years of age
- HIV infected patients
- In combination with other treatments for skin tags
- On children under 4 years of age
- Warts on face, chest, neck, breasts or buttocks
- If you intend to use while you are pregnant or breastfeeding, consult your doctor in advance
Storage Condition
