Bone is an important part of our recipes as they replicate a whole-prey diet for carnivores and bone
is a natural source of minerals, including calcium and phosphorus.
Unlike most pet foods that use highly processed ingredients, we use whole portions of free range
chicken and as our ingredients are minimally processed, you may find small pieces of bone in
our free-range chicken recipe.
While the small pieces of bone (up to 5 mm) reflect a natural and minimally processed Whole prey
food, the canning process does 'soften' this bone. We understand that some customers may have
some concerns and prefer not to feed a food with minced bone in it.
You may expect to find pieces of ground bone up to a maximum size of 5mm in our freerange chicken cans.
