BRITA Classic filter cartridge reduces limescale and substances such as chlorine, which affects the taste and odour of tap water. Furthermore it reduces certain heavy metals (like lead and copper). Certain pesticidesand organic impurities are also reduced.

The result is cleaner, clearer, great tasting water for hot and cold drinks and delicious food. You will also have less scale build up in your domestic applicances.

• Ion exchange filtration: The ion exchange resin reduces limescale (carbonate hardness) and certain heavy metals (like lead and copper).
• Activated carbon filtration: The activated carbon significantly reduces substances that affect smell and taste such as chlorine, organic impurities and certain pesticides.
• Intensive final filtration: The special fine mesh filter retains particle mixture.
