The causes of joint pain
Aging, obesity, or “wearing and tearing” of joints may cause cartilage degeneration. These conditions in the knee will trigger bone-to-bone rubbing, and thus leading to pain and swelling that can reduce the range of joint motion.1

What is glucosamine?
Glucosamine is one of the components in the articular cartilage. It is a natural occurring amino acid monosaccharide, which is produced endogenously for build and repair cartilage.2 However, as joint degeneration commences, the cartilage repairing process may not be adequate to compensate the loss, leading to painful sensation.3
